Lyrical Lemonade

the lucki video is the last of the iphone series. my goal was to do 6 of them in total over a year’s span and here we are.

by the way, apple did reach out to partner on these after the yeat one came out. i chose not to work with them because it just didn’t feel right. i wanted these videos to feel organic and authentic with no corporate restrictions.

i did this series to do a fun DIY project and inspire people to use the tools that are in front of them. the goal wasn’t to impress people, but to inspire people.

with all that being said, back to regular programming. lots of fun, experimental projects otw.

Thank you Cole for inspiring artists, videographers, visual editors, and so many creative people! I’m very happy to hear you didn’t work with Apple as a partnership on a corporate level to allow them to control your work partially/fully because I would feel the same way as you since corporations seem to always want to have full control of creativity they can profit the most from. Cole for the people! You have introduced me to the most inspirational artist Juice WRLD with your All Girls Are The Same music video and ever since that video came out February 25th, 2018 I became a fan of Juice WRLD. I remember going through it at the time with relationships and constant rejections relating to it on a deep level, I played that music video throughout the whole night multiple times! Thank you Cole for everything you do 🙏🏻 Hope one day I can work with y

Luv everything u done for the culture man. Niggas won’t say it but u really gave me and all the ones that care something special that we could nvr truly repay. I don’t kno if u read comments but ur videos have entertained me thru homelessness and inspired me to keep searching for joy in my life. I pray one day we can cross paths one day in this lifetime so I can tell u how much this music shit means to me n how much u done for me without even knowing me. NVR STOP🐻

As for me... Shooting on iPhone is what made me part of lyrical lemonade fam, it's sad to hear that you'll not do them anymore... But as a matter of fact Cole, you've inspired me a lot and I take you as ma mentor.

Yo Cole, I loved your iPhone shot videos, so I’m sad you won’t be making those any time soon. They were different, daring, creative, and above all just f*ing dope. Eventhough I’m not into making music videos or anything like that, you inspire me. Not only because the amazing stuff you make, but mainly because you stay true to yourself. To who you are and what you stand for. I want to thank you for being a important source of inspiration to me. Especially in hard times when I struggle with myself. Keep doing what you do.

The Yeat one was different, couldn’t believe it was an Iphone vid. That vid was just an artpiece I’ll never forget, cause it got me into Yeat. So thx for that Cole ! I hope they come back !
