Quality Matters. • Through the struggles to start construction on our land the last two years, and everything we’ve went through to get where we are now.. the topic of quality has been on my mind a lot. The quality of people & relationships, our intentions, our ambitions, the words we use, the vendors we hire, and even the love and kindness we share.. it all matters and is something we should focus on. We’ve been waterlogged from all this rain which has caused delays, but are so close to having a driveway we can use to start on the house itself.. we are finally almost there. • The quality of your clothing, gear and tools you use everyday matters just the same as the above. It matters because we all deserve the best, even when feel like we do not. In the construction & maker space we might feel like we didn’t do enough or know enough to “earn” it, that tool or this brand is only for “professionals” not for me.. There’s been mountains of gatekeeping to tell you you’re not good enough, or know enough, etc but the truth is that you are only limited by your own self doubt. You deserve good quality in your life. • For as far back as I can remember, @carhartt has been my choice for good quality, comfortable clothing and gear for work. Having good quality clothing is so important, it means one less thing to worry about while I’m working hard to accomplish my goals and I’m comfortable while working knowing my gear can keep up with me on the land or the jobsite. With that said, I am incredibly honored to be apart of the #friendsofcarhartt family, and to help introduce more people to how quality gear can improve their lives.
