We haven't been able to talk to Jacob yet but we do know that he is ok and he and his companion are back in their apartment after evacuating for hurricane Milton. They did lose power where they evacuated to but no other damage was done. We are very grateful that the hurricane was downgraded to a 3 when it made landfall and that it was not as destructive as anticipated although it still did heavy damage. Our thoughts and prayers are with those that did experience great loss with both hurricane Milton and hurricane Helene.
