I love Ohtani even more now seeing that overpaid Juan Soto getting almost $800M the guy is a one tool player with no speed is a terrible baserunner and even worse on defense has no range in the outfield. Even as hitter Ohtani has better offensive numbers then Juan Soto a one dimentional player, and certainly Shohei is a better baserunner with 59 stolen bases caught only 4 times, Soto had 6 stolen bases caught 4 times and the guy is one of the worse defensive players with no range in the outfield.

Ohtani next season instead of 50-50 I think he will go 50 and 20 (50 HRs and 20 Wins) Shohei won 15 games with a 2.33 ERA couple years ago on an Angels team that were 72-90, there is no doupt Shohei will win 20 games pitching for the Dodgers (As great as 50-50 Is with speed and power, going 50-20 is twice as great and special with power and pitching that decides winning a game)

As a Seattle Mariners fan it was a plasure watching Ohtani play in 2024 and setting records. The haters that criticize him for no reason at all except because he's the best player in the game, should be thanking him for bringing in new fans, with Shohei there were a record amount of road attendance and highest ratings during the regular season and playoffs.
