I hardly use it since they have screwed me over in the past too many times. I will, however, be keeping an eye on how they handle this situation.

Yes, I did the deal got my kicks the next day. Cashed out using Walmart gift cards and I used them for Christmas. I did have like 1200 ish kicks which were taken to 0, but yesterday I got 5000. So it worked pretty good for me. I am sorry for the ones who lost money

I’ll use it for walk ins and scans, but I don’t trust it for purchase kicks anymore unless it’s something I’d buy anyway.

They reserve the right to charge a fee? Reverse, change or whataver any deal, in their update terms, what's the point of using them

Heard about the deal. Have Old Spice in my stockpile and no one in my family uses it. Never went to do the deal. That's not cool what happened. Feel bad for everyone 😕 Hope Shopkick can make it right for them. ♥

Nope, I’m not gonna deal with them anymore. It was always hard to get a deal to work with them in the first place, but with all of that being said these apps are made for people like us and if we all speak up together and say hey, this was unacceptable changes can be made or companies no longer are economically viable to their advertisers. We need to remember these apps are meant for us, so I’m done with them.

I didn’t do that deal. Lately everytime I try to do a deal the kicks disappear on me so unable to do the deals I want. Is like if I don’t go the same day they are gone. So lately just been doing the walk in kicks. 🤷🏻

Yes, I will still use it with caution. If it gets to be too much of a hassle, or something like this happens again, then it’s deleted. I’m still not sure if this was SK’s error, or SK’s panicky, awful reaction to P & G’s error. Their response going forward will also be something to watch. *edited to add - we don’t use Old Spice, so I didn’t do the deal. Luck. But if I was out the money that some people are, I completely understand why they might want to delete the app, trash their reviews, etc. Whatever happened to cause this, SK reacted badly.

Sorry for the hassle it caused you. I'm still gonna use it with caution. Shopkick should realize that if they're going to put such a good deal out there, many people are going to do it and it needs to be honoured. I was thinking of doing a deal with Vital Proteins but due to the amount of kicks to be rewarded, I wasn't confident about waiting for so many kicks that might be rejected. Plus the fact that I don't use Vital Proteins.

I didn't do the deal because my mom was in the hospital and unfortunately died.... but If it wasn't for that I would be in the same boat as others and that's not cool. I see where some lost $240!!!!! I just can't stand behind a company that will do that to it's customers. It's morally wrong and just plain shady. Is this just affecting the old spice purchases that they're taking back?

I was fortunate that I had only did a few of the old spice because tying up that much money at Christmas made me nervous (glass half empty kinda girl) here so I will probably still use them just not max items out.

I never used it because I heard bad things about it. And after what happened to you it makes more sense of what other people told me about this app. I wouldn't trust this app. But also I have a bad experience with Ibotta, I never did anything wrong , never did those glitch deals, and somehow Ibotta deactivated my account and after many emails, they said I submitted a receipt that goes against the rules and they kept my $120. It makes me so mad because it was my favorite app, but also the same thing happened to many people I know.

I don’t like the idea of them taking away kicks that were already awarded to you. I had a little over 6100 kicks & they just took them away. I got lucky & was able to cash out some a few days ago so I didn’t lose as much as others. I won’t use an app that will take away what you’ve earned & what they have approved.

I only bought 2 which still kinda sucks because my 5 boys dont like old spice but my 13 year old actually likes the ones i got with this "deal" so idk i may continue to use sk. I'm not chasing money makers on any app only things i would use or like to try
