The 28-75mm is the sweet spot for a lot of shots. It is decently on the wide end at a 28mm and can be used for portraits at 75mm. The 17-28mm is primarily for wide angle shots and the 70-180mm is a close second place in my opinion. A long angle is fantastic to have when you can't get close enough to the subject. By the way I own both the 28-75mm and 70-180mm lenses.

The 24-70mm 2.8 S is my go-to. So it’s only natural to vote for the 28-75mm.

I have the Trinity currently but am always using 70-200 so I would choose the longer of the range for compression

As someone who owns the 24-70 and 70-200 2.8s. I kinda feel like I should have waited and got these.. yes mine are better but for the size trade off it’s probably worth it for the more budget friendly 2.8s

If you could only use one lens in the affordable f/2.8 series, which would it be?
