I understand, but it sucks that you have to go that route. I always appreciate your interactions w the chat. Been following your stuff since your were on Tim Black back in the day. I don't really watch his stuff anymore, but I check in on your stuff daily. When my situation improves maybe I'll become a member. Until then all the jokers ruined it for those of us who really dig your chat.

From my experience doing this... it's a bad move tbh... Because comments and likes fuel the interaction and tell youtube it's a goodnvideo. When I did it on mine I saw no growth in the live. Cheers Just my 2c. 😊

Lol anomaly to be fair, me and others leave positive and productive comments inviting conversation, but usually you pass over those and instead only read the negative ones. I’m happy to subscribe to members only to support you because you’re my favorite podcaster along with Elijah…but you could always just NOT read the troll stuff out loud lol

I like the idea! I remember you talking back when about extra priveledges or whatever you could give to patreon members and this reminds me kinda like that. Either gives a more intimate chat with the audience/creator or at the least, you get some compensation for the annoying ones.

I understand your reasoning but you choose which comments to read. I sometimes post humorous supportive comments but only about 1% get read. I think it's funny when you rip apart the nonsensical haters. The show will be much less interesting without the haters.

Announcement: I am making a YouTube Members program & only members will be able to comment on YouTube lives. I read comments every time I'm live & have determined it is a better system to do it this way. Most live-streams are getting derailed or re-routed by super annoying comments & I would rather allow members that type of access & involvement in the show. You could be annoying every day if you want but now you'll have to at least super chat or be a member. Thank you to everyone who watches! I appreciate you.
