Me and a friend did a three day BDR-X motocamping, it was awesome. A real adventure bike experience.

After a few days on the road and sleeping in a tent you relaice that you not need very much with you for a week in the road.

When Moto camping don't over think it. You are not preparing for the apocalypse. Too many redundancies adds too much weight. How many back ups for your backups do you need? That being said money... You don't need to buy top of the line gear to have a good time. The lightest tent or sleeping bag could cost a small fortune. A weight savings of 2 lbs is not worth a tent(or sleeping bag...)that costs 3x's the price. I guess if you have the disposable income to do it go ahead. I rather spend that money elsewhere.

Call me soft but nothing beats a warm shower and a bed at the end of a hard ride. Even if it does cost a little $$.

Tried motocamping for the first time, and it was definitely an adventure! From loading up the bike to setting up camp, there were plenty of lessons learned along the way. Would I do it again? Watch the video to find out! 🏕️ What’s your best motocamping advice?
