4090 & 3090, always have TWO prior Gen cards so if results vary due to other variables (like different benchmarking methods, scoring methods, etc.) you can impute an equivalent score for past tests, making it significantly easier to understand how every other card not compared roughly stacks up

I know everyone is all hot and heavy for the 5090, but it’s the 5080s people are more likely to be able to afford. If the 70s were about to be available, I’d aim there.

5090, 5080 and 4080 Super. Is going up from the 4080 Super to 5080 worth it or should I go all out for the 5090. I want h.265 on the GPU so 50 series will cure that but… how much better is it for Davinci, AI Software like Topaz AI video, Hunyuan AI, Foocus AI, FaceFusion etc etc. In the end I imagine that VRAM bump would be pretty great, I want to be working a lot with AI in the near future so trying to plan for that.

Please compare with 2090, I need to know if I should upgrade

Even if it doesn’t have many votes I think 3090 makes more sense, not everyone is jumping from one generation to the next one every two years.

Compare to the 4080 too, not everyone can afford a flagship but sometimes it's worth considering.

The 4080 super please. That's what I'll be upgrading from if it's enough of a gain

All of the above plus a few lower price point options to see where the bang for buck is.

Since AMD is going tier-to-tier performance in naming: RX 9090 - RTX 5090 RX 9080 - RTX 5080 RX 9070 - RTX 5070 XT - Ti So, last gen would be RX 7900 series (all of it) vs 5090

I'm seriously anxious to see the new 5070Ti scores to be honest. The XX70 series seem to hit that balanced sweet spot for a lot of folks.
