Probably one of the most fair matchups I’ve seen for a DB character vs a non-DB character. To keep it even while having some variety, I’d say Hale and Raditz are equal in physical strength to start. Hale gets more durability due to being empowered by australium, meaning he can take more of a beating. Raditz has ki blasts, giving him ranged attacks against a melee only opponent. I would say Raditz also has the advantage of flight but seeing that Saxton Hale says ‘Screw gravity!’ at times I could totally see some humor being sprinkled in by having him being able to straight up fly after Raditz if he wants/needs to.

Raditz scales way beyond Roshi blowing up the moon. Technically Hale also blew it up in the comics, but that’s because there was an Apple Product that’s only purpose was the blow up the moon.

This is funny because I was just talking to my roommate last night about a theoretical matchup between Saxton and Hercule Satan. Sure, Hercule is a joke compared the Goku and his ilk, but as a human he's actually crazy strong. I mean, the guy survived getting bitch-slapped into the side of a mountain by Cell that would have killed just about anyone else. That was the equivalent of getting hit head-on by a freight train at full speed (which means in all likelihood he could tank a Saxton Punch pretty well). He's a legitimate world champion and strongman, even though he's inclined to cheat sometimes, so I'd say he's actually a great opponent for Saxton.

Have we actually seen Saxton try before? Most of the time, he does his best Yujiro Hanma and beats up animals to extinction because he's bored.

Joke wise: SAXTON HALE wins Actual debate wise: Raditz wins, he's literally at the bare minimum Moon level because of Master Roshi's feat in OG Dragon Ball and Piccolo as well.

I dont know too much about Hale but, even early Z is pretty nuts. Even Pre-Z Goku is outrageously powerful, and he had to team up with Piccilo to beat Raditz.

Honestly, it could go either way. Hale is kinda like Frieza, he's used to being stronger by default. (Which, to his credit, he almost always is. It's literally the point of the VSH mode.) Raditz is also extremely arrogant, and let himself slip up and lose to the Goku Piccolo team-up because of it. Both could capitalize on the other's issues, whilst making use of their own abilities. (Hale getting faster the more damage he takes, and Raditz with his ranged ki attacks.) TL;DR, either could win, and Dragon Ball fans don't read their own manga/watch their own anime.
