NCS did a great job in fleshing out its characters, and Green/Ochre are two great examples of this.

In the original Scarlet and the Mysterons Captain Ochre is a male character but in this reboot of Captain Scarlet they decided to have Captain Ochre as a female character instead.

First episode of New Captain Scarlet, Ochre is male then becomes female. Male one must have been replaced or when the first two were made the creators may not have known where the series was going as all character designs changed from episode 3 onwards.
