Duane's Layla solo is just about the most iconic solo in the entire rock and roll genre.

Duane, for me, is unbelievable on Layla. It's iconic. Takes that song to another level.

DUANE ALLMAN changed an entire album. Turned a good love song into masterpiece for the ages.

Looks like quite a few people need to listen to Dwayne's parts on Layla.

SRV on the whole Album is fantastic! Espacially on „cat people“. Just listen to it, ear candy!!

Duane Allman on Wilson Picketts cover of Hey Jude. If you have never heard it, go check it out. Gives me chills everytime. He goes off.

Duane Altman at 19%?! How old’s whoever makes these-here polls?

I think the poll is fixed to create comments. Layla is the clear winner. Nobody else completely took over a song. Clapton said he was stuck and turned to Duane. Duane nailed it

Duane for sure - but his best guest solo was arguably for Boz Scaggs Somebody Loan Me A Dime

Not even close. Duane by a mile! They're all iconic, but, when the bodies started piling up, "Layla" was there! "Goodfellas" wouldn't have been the same without it

Layla hands down. It's like a complete other song with a life of its own on the ending portion
