hi hi! wanted to let y'all know I have seen the feedback on my latest video and totally understand the calls for deeper analysis on this one.
This is the first video I've made since having my baby. We don't have childcare so I'm with her while my husband is at work, then we share the load of baby and everything else when he's home. I severely underestimated how hard it would be to find time (and mental energy) to research and write with a newborn! I thought I could 'just work when she naps' ... LMAO I wish.
This topic was one of my many partially-written scripts in the vault, and I thought it would be feasible to finish before my sponsor deadline. I hoped to make this lighthearted by focusing on ~silly cultural beef~ on social media (like who knows geography). Without time to adequately dig into the more serious angles about US power and influence, etc, I chose not to include those deeper issues in this episode.
But I hope you know, I agree 100% that the US is worthy of all the criticism! (& that's an understatement but again I barely have time to write this response right now)
Anyway, trying to work in this new era of parenthood has had a steep learning curve! Of course, I still want my future videos to meet my usual quality standards, so I hope y'all can be patient with me while I figure it out. Thank you!!
