I disagree. I think the iPhone 16 Pro has been a great upgrade for me. The form factor, screen size, battery life, cameras, and overall performance have been great in my experience.

💯 agree on you! worst buy of the year iphone13-15 are more reliable rather than this unit 16 pro 😂

The iPhone 16 Pro max is an incremental improvement over the 15 pro max in all the right ways, better battery life, better performance and less thermal throttling, Apple intelligence and Ai features in general are still gimmicks and still offers little improments like 4k 120 fps video recording better than any smartphone on the market I don't know what people expected it to be. I think we reached peak in smartphones and it wasn't meant for 15 pro max users it's still a great smartphone I've been using it since it came out and no problems whatsoever.

Hard to say but I did come from a IPhone 7 Plus. So far I can’t complain at all.

i own a z fold 6 and i use it far more than my 15 pro max everyday. the only convincing upgrade of the 16 pro max compared to my iphone is its screen size. everything is just fine with the 15 pro series. im not so sold into iphone's AI. i enjoyed much with samsung's iteration (caveat its photo ai eraser).

iPhone hardware stays the same and the software gets worse year after year.

tbh samsung (and most other phone companies) didn't make anything revolutionary either this year

I also disagree, the phone’s form factor, speed and battery are all awesome and the camera is the best yet. I do agree that the AI features were over hyped, disappointing, meh and did not deliver 😔

It's easily the iPhone. It's funny my wife said I knew the iPhone 16 Pro Max wasn't good when you didn't buy it the day of. She's right I did not care and it feels like a money grab. The Pixel 9 Pro XL and my 9 Pro Fold are my phone of the year although most would say the Samsung S24 Ultra which I can understand even though I don't use mine.

JSL Review
As we go into 2025, I’m going to say the worst phone of 2024 was the iPhone 16 Pro. It’s complicated because it’s not a bad phone, it just really over promised and under delivered IMO. What’s your bust of 2024?? Video ->youtube.com/shorts/eZSPIfiDzv...
