!! IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ALERT !! It has come to my attention from several subscriber emails, that today (11/28/23), a screenshot from one of my videos showing how to create healthier, homemade versions of store-bought cereals, was featured in a news article with a headline that read, "Boycott Looms for Kellog's Froot Loops for Pushing 'Woke' Agenda on Kids."
It's possible that you have (or will) see my face pop up in a newsfeed app. I want to emphasize how deeply upsetting it is that a "news" agency would deliberately use a screenshot from a video and associate it with an article that deviates so drastically from the purpose and topic with which it was shared. This incident is not just a personal disappointment for me; it also underscores the importance of scrutinizing and vetting news organizations to ensure the integrity of the information we consume. I mean honestly, how does a gal filming from scratch meals in her house slippers become an unsuspecting subject in a sensational news piece? Please know that I will seek guidance on how to best address this matter with the news organization. More importantly, YOU, my friends and community, matter to me and you know my message. Had it not been for folks reaching out, I wouldn't have realized this at all. Below is the image.
My intent this evening was to finish the final touches to a video, I was certain I would publish tonight! I've organized a small home apothecary and I'm so excited to share my set up and favorite fall/winter wellness recipes with you. I'll keep you posted my friends.
