I CAN'T believe it's over. We made it ๐ป What are your thoughts on this FINALE?
Satisfied with this ending? Still upset over last week's episode? Or did you all wanted Mok to catch the flight?
Honestly I LIKED it. I did ๐ despite everything it was a healing journey. I mean Day was unfair using the pity card to accuse Mok, when from my perspective what overcome Mok at the time was the constant fear of failing to be there and protect someone close to him and whom he loved like he did with Rung. He never overcame it or had help with his trauma at all too. While Day had plenty of people beside him to support him in his dark periods, Mok had hardly anyone other than Porjai and even she left after having Mee to her mother's house. To have no one and be so unfairly hurt only to accept a job offer and not regret it in the future felt lacking... They could have had an adult conversation right there and then and NOT 3 years later. Then again Day made it always about him, and even us the viewers focused on him and forgot how much Mok was struggling too until episode 11 hit us like a storm. So yeah, Mok had nothing to apologize for, although I get it that in Day's situation or any other no one likes to be pitied on. Mok always sought his best to understand and support Day in everything he wanted to do, and he always did his job right as a caregiver. He had no filters, he gave Day back his autonomy, confidence, and freedom, which many failed to do. ๐คจ So, to have Mok being accused of pitying him was unfair and uncalled for as much as him apologizing for it. The only highlight that helped on this was the fact that Day realized his constant mistakes and put his pride on the side to be the one asking for a second chance, because let's face it, deep down inside he knows Mok deserves better and has been trying with all his might, so why shouldn't Day do the same now if he really wants a chance?
They both completely changed each other's lives and had a healing journey ๐ป๐
PS: it's funny but I had a few theories, one of them was that Day would eventually open up a bookshop in the future, where they would possibly meet again after a break and time skip. I got that one right ๐คฃ Can't help it. I felt a 1000 stars vibe with this, as one of P'Aof work's patterns. He never disappoints. His cameo was Golden smooth. Jimmy and Sea did an outstanding job on their roles, and so did the rest of the cast and the production team on everything.
