Best in the series. Played Blue, but Silver is what really cemented Pokémon into my life. Also, I am old, and that sucks.

Gen 2 will always be my baby... Such nostalgia I have for it... The locals, the music, some iconic Pokémon.. It blew my mind as a kid. I'm forever thankful for this game and this series.

Same. Started watching with the original series, started playing with Gen 2. Still have it around and did some shiny breeding in crystal, even tried to do little cup with them haha.

Silver was my first, as well, and Cyndaquil was my first ever Pokemon. I had that Quilava so long, it's still one of my favorite Pokemon. I no longer have the original, but I still look back on those memories fondly. Hard to believe it's been 21 years since I played it for the first time O_o
