Let the knees and kicks to a grounded opponent happen and give people 25 sec to land a significant shot or advance position on the cage. I think there is more stalling going on in the clinch then the ground.

Not all decisions are boring fights. Some are insane wars. However, this is the exception.

You got to learn to enjoy the decision fights. Appreciate the grappling, the combatant’s ability to control their opponent and outlast them in a contest of endurance also. That is a skill. Not a flashy skill, but they won.

The Contender Series has the best fights. The kids are hungry and they know if they play it safe and go to a decision they aren’t getting in the UFC! A lot of fighters in the UFC are coasting to decisions.

That’s going to be the norm in my opinion, which would make a striking champion a lot more popular.

Fighters are so scared of getting any losses so they make more money that they won’t get risky and go for finishes

That’s how close the talent is with these guys. It’s getting harder and harder to finish bc the talent is so well rounded.

I think it's because diversity of skill of average UFC fighter. Before there were a lot more specialist in one area of fighting. When you get classic grappler vs striker matchup it's far more likely it will end in finish. Nowdays, most matchups are between all around fighters, and difference between them is smaller and smaller each year.

2024 was a record setting year for fights ending in decision for the UFC. Is it just a coincidence or is the game changing? 🤔
