Not sure how long you’ll stay in China for this trip, but maybe try covering more ground this time, from south to north and west to east. That is how you will truly appreciate how massive China is and how varied different regions are in terms of food, people and culture. Don’t know if you guys can bear the cold🥶 or would love some snow❄️ , but I would highly recommend you to go to Shenyang, which is my hometown, located in northeastern part of China. Do come prepared as it’s freezing cold now up north. Shenyang has a very unique bathing culture and is consider to be No.1 in China. The bathhouses in Shenyang are wicked and you will 100% get your minds blown out of the universe and I'm not even exaggerating. You may think OK bathing who cares but no, it's not just taking a bath. It has a lot more to offer but I won't spoil too much. It's also a city that not many foreigners travel to and it will definitely make a very unique and interesting video on YouTube. You can checkout more about Shenyang's bathing experience in another YouTuber (Blondie in China)'s video - https://youtu.be/DFeuKC1MzmE?si=Z8oXWETI2Do5EQpc And if you’ve visited Shenyang, maybe try HaErBin as well a bit more up north, where you can find the famous HaErBin Ice and Snow World, a city made of Ice and Snow. I would say those cities up north and some in the west are less visited by foreigners and you can really make standout videos on YouTube, instead of those traditional cities in the southeast. Also things are cheaper up north, even in those capital cities of provinces compare to major cities in the south

At this time of year, if you're going to Sichuan, I highly recommend you guys going to BiPengGou and Mount Emei. The scenery there is amazing and you get to see cloud-sea if lucky.

Zhangjiajie is worth a visit! Different and unique scenery. But December may not be a good season.

I'd recommend Jiuzhaigou if you're going to Chengdu. The natural beauty is just breathtaking there.

Nice. Oh I didn't know your flying back to Vietnam. Guess is a tough 1, but your flying to Taipei, Manila and Honolulu for the 1st time and last day of 2024. Visiting Taipei for the 1st time, you should stay for 3 to 4 days, followed by 3 days in Manila and Honolulu.

Chengdu for pandas and food, and then 3 hr high speed train to Xi’an for underground history (2000~1000 yr ago), and then 2 hr train to Shanxi province for aboveground history (<1000yr ago) and amazing traditional architecture (#1 in China, where the architecture/sculpture in phenomenal video game Black Myth Wukong was filmed/scanned

Don’t miss Shanghai, the most beautiful city especially during the Christmas holidays.

Highly recommend you check out the northeast. The winter is cold, but it’s gonna be worth it. Check out my city Shenyang, the nearby coastal city Dalian or even more up north Haerbin

if you want natural views juizhaigou and yulong moutain have chengdu as its nearest major city (although both are like 10h away by car but there is a high speed train about 2h away from it). both are in the same direction and are very beautiful, even at this time of year.

Hello! 👋😊
We hope you’re having an INCREDIBLE Sunday. Our video tonight is going to be a little departure from our normal style, and just a tad bit shorter than usual.
But there’s a reason for that. This last week has been spent mostly packing, preparing and going back and forth to the Visa center here in Hanoi, and now we’re happy to announce that we have been approved for a proper visa for China! 🇨🇳
What’s even more exciting is that we will be headed to the airport tomorrow morning and arriving back just in time for Christmas! Any guesses as to where we are going first?!
We’ll give you a hint: 🐼
We can’t wait to continue our exploration of China and we would love any suggestions or recommendations of things to see and do along the way!
Our video will be out at the normal time (6pm GMT+7) and we hope you enjoy it! 🤗
Have a great day, wherever you are in the world! 🌎
