I have no problem cleaning surfaces; wiping, vacuuming, scrubbing, etc, but what trips me up is feeling defeated before I ever begin by all the items on the surfaces! Everything on the shelves, counters, credenzas, mantles…. I end up procrastinating getting the main job done. Any advice about how to overcome this analysis paralysis problem? 🙏

Gas stove with the cast iron grates. I cook a lot and can never seem to get the stove clean. I prefer electric but the appliance came with the place so I need to make do for now and not have it looking oily and gross.

Do you have any suggestions for cleaning a popcorn ceiling? Rings of dirt have formed around the air conditioner vents. The AC filters should have been changed more frequently. Repainting the entire ceiling is out. Trying to clean the ceiling without knocking off the popcorn texture is very difficult. Painting just around the ceiling vent makes the attempt obvious. Any cleaning tips for making the ceiling look like new again would be welcome.

I know you have covered windows before, but we are still struggling with hard water stains on outside windows… blown on by breezes when sprinklers are running, and deep down dirts in the tracks and track corners that were here when we moved into this house this summer. I hate dirty windows and these are driving me nuts!!! Thank you for all your great tips, have been really helpful!! 🙏

I would love a series on way to make cleaning more accessible for disabled people of all kinds. I’m physically disabled but ambulatory so I’m able to move around a bit but it can cause pain so whatever I can do to clean as fast and effectively as possible is great. I also have pretty bad ADHD so while I WANT to clean because I love it, I have a hard time “scheduling” it into my days essentially.
