I think the sweet spot is in between those 2 answers. Definitely want more info than one or 2 sentences, but not an in-depth break down of the whole book. I think the passion that’s comes across in some of your reviews for certain books is probably more the determining factor of whether I want to pick a book up or not. I particularly like when you explain what sets a book apart from generic story. The weirdness of a world setting or the amazing characters.
