ANDREW GABOR

Social media can be incredibly dangerous. Recently, a Twitter thread surfaced in which someone is now claiming that the assault of a 13-year-old girl occurred after the 2003 VMAs, rather than in 2000 as previously reported. This new narrative is rapidly being accepted as FACT. However, attorney Buzbee has stated that he and his team thoroughly questioned the witness, who was adamant that the incident happened in 2000. The Twitter user now argues that the presence of Good Charlotte at the 2003 VMAs means that must have been the correct year. While I sympathize deeply with all survivors of assault, it's important to remember that falsely accusing innocent people based on shifting claims is reckless and ultimately harms the pursuit of true justice.
