I have 2 switches. One is for my original island that I have completely flattened and rebuilt multiple times. The other switch is for restarts, which I have also done multiple times.

unfortunately i am too sentimental to ever delete. those lil guys are my family now. i totally get when other people do tho! sometimes a fresh start is what you need to stay motivated to keep playing!

Restart from new all the time because I'm dramatic and if a build isn't going my way then I get angry and throw away all the work I've put into the island 😅

Yea...I have, many many times! Not that I play any more, I lost interest and can't find that spark again. Only annoying thing is relearning the DIYs and working through the DLC to customize the houses, but, remember you can visit you old island any time 😊

I've considered it... And done it once!! I have had animal crossing since 2020, and reset my island in early 2021 and have kept the same one since. It has become sentimental to me, so whenever I want a new theme I just flatten my island and pick everything up!
