I had a fantastic time in Death Valley National Park yesterday. Hurricane Hillary caused a lot of flooding back on August 20, 2023. Crews have been working hard and got the Park back open last week. Badwater Basin that is normally salt flats is still a lake. If you are in the area it's worth the less than 1 mile walk out to the waters edge. Sunset last night was like cotton candy! Alert, the tarantula was a first for me, seeing one in the wild. It was at Dantes View.
