For those not on the Discord ( discord.gg/3AhzJZ4 ), here's an unlisted video of Tom Brier playing at his birthday party in 2019. He's softly adding some countermelody with his left hand as Jack & Chris Bradshaw play the popular rag "Dill Pickles". You'll notice he can not open his right hand all the way, and can see the dimple in his head where part of his skull was removed to reduce brain swelling after the accident. I still come back to your recordings of Tom's sight reading performances every now and again, and seeing this video of him being able to play, at least somewhat, really warms my heart. I was just 14 when Tom suffered that life-changing accident, even though I never knew him personally I was deeply saddened by the news. I know it isn't likely that he will make a full, 100% recovery, but I hope he is doing well regardless of circumstances. I'll definitely be joining the discord today to catch up on updates! And also, thank you so much for blessing us with this video, I hope you're doing well too. I've been lurking in the comments section for the past few years, I'm sorry that people don't take initiative to find information themselves. I can imagine it's frustrating answering the same questions over and over again. You've been more than generous with providing updates and answering peoples' questions, a million, bajillion thanks!

I hope everyone is doing alright. From the time I first discovered the channel, to when I finally found out what happened, and I truly feel for everyone involved, especially Tom... I can't imagine the extent of how this has affected everyone.
