Aww man, that sucks. I remember finding your channel like 4 years ago and I watched all your Commander Keen videos, some Duke Nukem videos (It was really interesting for me when I found out that Duke Nukem had 2D games since I only played Duke Nukem 3D). I played a lot of DOS games when I was a kid, and I've always enjoyed a lot of games for that platform, and I still play some games on Dos-Box nowadays. I can't really tell you to stay because that's your decision, but I personally never read any annotations (because I always watched on my phone) and still enjoyed your content. I can't say this applies to everyone though, but I'd still watch your videos even if they have no commentary, because I really like retro games and I'd love to discover more games.

Youtube does make it harder and harder to be a creator. If it's not them removing a feature you made videos around like this, it's them breaking something, if it's not them breaking something, it's them letting bogus copyright claims flourish and etc...

You know, YouTube is giving me more and more reason to not upload anymore. First they take away video responses which lowers interactivity. Then they take away the annotation editor which was something creators like myself enjoyed using because my videos don't have commentary. I also used annotations for stuff like my Interactive Oregon Trail Walkthrough series.
Now they are removing ALL existing annotations? Are you serious YouTube? I know I could still upload if I really wanted to, but I'm not going to have anything to help me stand out from other non commentary videos of old school games. I may not upload anything else at this rate. If anyone who has watched my videos is reading this, thank you for the support. It was fun while it lasted.
Don't worry, I'll still definitely leave every video uploaded and I'll still try to be active and reply to comments when I can.
