Cyberpunk 2077 will it win game of the year?

@Skratzy

The narrative ,soundtrack, and actors deserve a award. The glitches shot down any section that required gameplay to contend for the award besides the narrative choice buttons.

@Childishxmarkeeloo

Tbh cyberpunk should at lease get best soundtrack unless a game came out recently with a better one

if RE 8 wins it's a slap on the face of those who paid for it on PC.

Honestly "It takes two" is the game most deserving of GOTY this year. It was a refreshing masterpiece out of nowhere. But it gets overlooked as it wasn't a big hyped up release or a part of a series.

@lemao2222

SAUL will see this game through to GOTY

I actually enjoyed the game immensely. Don't know if it can hold GOTY title though?

There is absolutely no way cyberpunk wins anything this year. It was a disaster. Maybe if they really turn it around they can win best comeback or something next year.

If it wasn't broken then yes, most enjoyable experience by far this year

I legit couldn't progress for months in cyberpunk because of a game breaking bug on a main story mission only fixed in update 1.3 never should it get goty

Honestly? It was my favorite game of 2021. Didn't have much issues besides a few crashes (had way more crashes in assassin's creed valhalla). Loved the story and the gameplay was fun.

I loved cyberpunk, but as a huge RE fan i must say that RE VIIIage deserves it

Cyberpunk was a cataclysmic embarassment for CDPR. So not a chance that it wins GOTY. If it does win GOTY, it would be an embarassment for the gaming industry as a whole.

It really doesn't deserve it. No game that releases in such an abysmal state deserves that title.

My vote goes for Tales of Arise & Pathfinder WOTR instead. The category CP2077 "could" get would be: + Best Score & Music. Seems to be the most obvious winner as legit the best OST so far imo. + Best Performance. Voice Acting list most memorable so far. + Best Art Direction. When the game works beautifully on PC LOL. Probably goes to indie game tbh. + Best Narrative. Really pushing it imo, since game is rather broken on consoles & that definitely factor in. I really doubt for GOTY choice. 100% there will be more non-CP2077 voters, including myself unfortunately. Hell, CP2077 don't even deserve best RPG of the year. Again, that goes for either "Pathfinder WOTR" or "Tales of Arise" so far imo. Also, I have a feeling we get the worse GOTY nominees this year with at least both BF2042, COD Vanguard, & FC6. I am afraid RE VILLAGE will get snubbed instead by these games, based on AAA money (bribe) & popularity alone. FC6 might have a chance to be actual GOTY worthy if the game turn out polished great, even when it's slightly better than FC5. All CDPR need to do is releasing a polished product to be "legendary" & they failed to do that. It would be very bad for Gaming Industry to reward such deceitful conducts.
