Westerman

I'd like to take a brief moment now to thank you all for the kind words you've shared about the release of my album, and to thank all the people who have helped me make it.

The music we made is speaking towards matters of iniquity - so to see people move in ways combating these things collectively is a great source of hope for me. I only hope that within the seas of change we can all do our best to find threads of universal humanity. There is always the danger of widening the poles of perceived difference instead of bridging them, and we must stay alert and keep from falling into this all too familiar pitfall. There is still much more work to be done.

I want to thank firstly the wonderful musicians who have helped me make the record:
Joe Mcgrail on twinkly keys.
Laura Groves on woozy keys and celestial BV’s.
Ben Reed on both slinky and slinkless bass.
Lucinda Chua on hearty strings.
Nathan Jenkins on sound constellation.
Tuca Milan on Brazilian wood nut hits.
Tic on future mutant guitar.
Zsela on warmth and depth in the final track.
Joviale and the Poisonettes for singing down the line.
James Arben on plaintif canard.

Also I would like to give special thanks to the following people without whom this record would not exist in the way that it now does:
Jane Third, Fabian Prynn, Ed Horrox, Tim Putnam, Lisa Ekdahl, Braulio Amado, Chris Robbins, Tom Wironen, Haley Kaye, Mathias Bolmdahl and Xica Aires.

I want this music to be a place to think and feel without fear of any judgment and I hope it can be that for you. Thank you all for listening -

Your Hero is Not Dead.
