Bill Brown, one of the most experienced pan tuners in Europe, has been building steel drums and the well-known Caisa with great success since 1986.
Tim Baur looks back on a 10-year drum construction phase. During this time he built the Cosmicpan Handpan and the Om-Drum (tongue drum) and now the well-known Baur&Brown Handpans.
Both have been fascinated by the research and construction of musical instruments made of metal - especially the handpan - for years.
So what happens when two experienced manufacturers throw all their energy, joy and experience into one big pot or wok?
