A graduate of the Eastman School of Music in New York, Mr. Johnny Ng studied viola performance under the tutelage of Professor George Taylor and received his Master of Music degree in 2012. Mr. Ng also earned a BA degree from UCLA under Grammy Award Winner Richard O'Neill.

Recipient of a Conducting Fellowship with the American Academy of Conducting at Aspen (AACA), Johnny Ng made his debut with the AACA Orchestra in July 2013. His conducting teachers includes Maestros Robert Spano, Ken Lam, Donald Nueun, Donald Brinegar and Mark Scatterday.
 
Mr. Ng is currently serving as the conductor for the Diocesan Girls' Junior School String Orchestra, chamber music coach for the Diocesan Boys' School and instrumental teacher for the Diocesan Boys' School Primary Division. He also serves regularly as the guest conductor and the princial violist of the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra.
