The Philippine Meistersingers

The Philippine Meistersingers is one of the Philippines' most acclaimed choirs today. Under it's former name, Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) Ambassadors, the Meistersingers have concertized locally and internationally, performing a wide-ranging repertoire of classical, contemporary, and sacred music.
The Meistersingers are active participants in the Philippines' classical music community, having performed major works such as Handel's Messiah, Rutter's Gloria and Magnificat, in collaboration with the San Agustin Museum International Music Festivals, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, etc.
In 2006, as the AUP Ambassadors, the Meistersingers won two gold medals and the championship for the Gospel and Spirituals category at the 4th World Choir Games. Under its director, Ramon M. Lijauco, Jr., the Meistersingers continue to stay true to its dedication to ministry, its legacy of service, and its commitment to excellence, all to the Glory of God!
