I used to be an avid follower of Times Square Church and all its ministries. I put the place up on some kind of a pedestal, and I'm sorry for having done so.

I went away to Summit (Mt. Zion) International School of Ministry as I had mentioned before and was utterly disappointed with what I found. The atmosphere was one of legalism and some behaviors resembled that of a cult. I confronted several of the staff before leaving who brushed me off with complacence.

In the recent months, I've heard from over a hundred former students of MZ who claimed to have had similar experiences. I was appalled at the events they shared. Some say after ten years they are still hurting, others say the place was a waste of time, others left the faith completely. I cannot support TSC or its school due to their lack of accountability to all the people they have hurt and manipulated, without apology or apparent change. I now wish to call staff to accountability and help educate others on what I now know.
