We are Matahari Group, a dance ensemble from Prague that has been bringing the beauty of oriental dance in its classical and modern forms, as well as folkloric dances from the Middle East and North Africa, to Czech and international stages since 2007. Under the artistic direction of Karolina Straus Idris and with the support of our home dance school, Centrum Tance, we blend tradition with creativity to showcase the rich cultural heritage of these regions.
