The Yahoo! Serious / At large online videos presented are unscripted and unplanned.Camera operators capture live video and switch focus from individual performers. A technical director then synch's those shots, picking multiple takes, each that have a variable beginning and ending. Those clips are judged based on an aesthetic that ranges in continuity, rhythm and focus.Technical direction is needed to keep the capture fluid and viewer captive. These factors are decided instinctively to best preserve a warmth of the original performance, to capture its chrysalis and the palpable catharsis the artists share live on stage.
I film and edit live, unscripted musical performances I do this because I love it.I have a solid relationship with various artists & industry professionals. I built Yahoo! Serious to make ROIO video stand tall in an industry segment that does not officially exist. The constant common is that I try to innovate or inspire.
