Alejandra Hou is an Editor and Director based in Los Angeles focused on telling stories that talk about social, personal, and mental issues where a happy ending is not always the case.

Alejandra's first work as a Director was a short film called "Pulse" where the story was written by Angelica Reyes and directed by Alejandra Hou. This short film was part of a class project, but she took it to another level. She took it as a way to show her talent in the best way possible. Months later, something unexpectedly happened. Pulse won five awards such as Best LGBT Short, Best Female Director, and Best Student Director.

Alejandra currently works as a Senior Video Editor for the company Dhar Mann Studios which has a YouTube channel over 22 million subscribers. They post 5 short narrative videos a week.
