Wizard of Livonia
The Wizard of Livonia channel was created by Dan Boyd as a vehicle to promote talented, interesting people. As both a fan and purveyor of rock and electronic music he is committed to furthering the state of artistic expression in various musical and visual forms. From underground basement jam parties to national acts Dan Boyd has focused his camera on the club circuit and local Detroit or Ann Arbor based performers since the 1980s. This channel features clips shot, edited or collected by the Wizard Of Livonia.
Christopher Coppola dubbed him "The Wizard of Livonia" when he converted a technical snafu into a workable solution. Boyd worked on the production of "Stranger in the Woods The Movie" and the "In The Woods" series produced by Carl Sams and SisBro productions whose latest work "A Pirate's Quest" is winning awards at film festivals worldwide.
