Alto & Soprano saxophonist Jaleel Shaw is the winner of the Rising Star Alto Saxophone category in the 2014 Downbeat Critics Polls. He is not only a bandleader, but also is a member of the Roy Haynes Quartet, Tom Harrell’s “Colors Of A Dream” band. He has also performed with Christian Mcbride, Jason Moran, Stefon Harris, Roy Hargrove, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, Jimmy Cobb the Mingus Big Band, and more.
