SOULSTRING. Known for their androgynous yet soulful acoustic sound, started out as a duo in 1999, performing Motown classics and rehashing top 40 hits. In the past, they have performed back-to-back with artists like Chad Borja, the Akafellas, MYMP, Jennylyn Mercado, Nina and Raki Vega (with Prudence), Richard Poon, Sitti, Jay-R and even collaborated with Dice & K9 ('Your Alibis' with Aldwin).
In 2006, a percussionist was added (Marc) into the group. Like the trio that they are now, their songs ('Wish, Far Away From Me and Worth The Wait') are continuously clamored for and enjoy constant requests and high airplays. In fact, Far Away From Me is one of the tracks from the original motion picture soundtrack album of Angel Locsin's self-produced film, 'Angels' released last June 2007. The song's music video was aired on RCTV Channel 36 last October 2007 and was also featured in the HALOHALO show on LA TV Channel 18 last July 2008. It's also on Yahoo.
