Sacha Dench is a biologist, conservationist and adventurer who founded Conservation Without Borders. Known as the ‘human swan’ for joining wild animals on their migrations around the world, her main focus is on exploring the species and issues that most need attention, and the right people to help do it.
Sacha is Ambassador for the UN’s Convention on Migratory Species and is the inaugural winner of the Green Swan Award for ‘Making the seemingly impossible, virtually inevitable’. She has a Guinness World Record for the first woman to cross the English Channel by paramotor, was named Woman of the Year in 2017, and in 2018 became the first woman in over 50 years to win the Britannia Trophy for an outstanding feat of aviation.
