Norma Jeane Baker was an artist and art in it's purest form. Pure artistic genius in the body of a woman who used her physicality to practice her art form. Like so many artists of the highest caliber through history, she was tormented by her own brilliance, one which she herself could not understand or even tame. It was in her pores. She had to BE.. and that in itself was her gift to the world. We find new ways to interpret her.. but to dissect is not to serve, only to break up into smaller less meaningful pieces. It is time to put away our feverish need for more, and just enjoy the once living breathing work of art we were so generously gifted with.
Art, alive. Usually only found in our gardens or among the wild and untamed creatures of nature, but never within our own species. I guess there was one exception.
