The Psalter is one of the books of the Bible. Psalms are an integral part of worship in the temple and the prayer rule of Orthodox Christians. Many feelings and experiences of a person are clearly expressed in the psalms: repentance and humility, awareness of one’s unworthiness before the majesty of God, thanksgiving for His great mercies, hope for the mercy of the Almighty and a cry to Him for help. The monastery choir perfectly conveys these feelings to the listeners.
A complete continuation of the reading of the Psalter, consisting of 20 parts or kathisma, as well as troparia and prayers that are sung and read between kathisma. You will hear trembling and strict, sometimes harsh monastic singing.
