Right Up Our Street aims to engage more people from across Doncaster in memorable arts experiences. The project is about Doncaster people choosing, making, seeing and sharing brilliant cultural ideas. Over the next few years all sorts of art and performance will be happening in surprising ways and exciting places - from libraries to parks, pubs to sports grounds, canals to rooftops, markets to theatre venues. Activity is focused in six key areas, Balby, Bentley, Mexborough, Rossington, the East and Doncaster centre -- with several cultural venues. In each of these areas Arts Supporters are working on workshops and events.

Right Up Our Street is led by a consortium of Doncaster Arts Organisations and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England until 2016.
