"This Land was made for you and me." The historic folk singer Woody Guthrie was born about 30 miles from here. I like to think this land was as magical for him as it has been for me. I moved here to build our dream home in 2021. Although sometimes it seems our house will never be fully finished, moving here has saved me. Prior to the move, I was so wrapped up in my anger and grief, the best parts of life were passing me by. Something had to change, so we sold my house and moved two hours away and started building. This land has taught me so much about what is important. The time I now spend on the land with the animals has been the best medicine for my soul. This page is my way to honor what the land has given me, a way to document the joy it has brought to my family and me. Thank you for watching!
