Along the way to her pop debut, Latina-American singer-songwriter Sophia Angelica became a global human rights activist. She has worked closely with the United Nations, and has traveled to combat bullying, discrimination and share positive messages through music. She set out on her entertainment career at 6 years of age and made her television debut on “Good Day New York” on FOX and “Dora the Explorer” on Nickelodeon. Sophia has received many awards, including the HOLA “Breakthrough Artist Award,” the prestigious “President’s Volunteer Service Award”, and most recently, the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award presented by Clive Davis. She’s performed in various well-known venues and cities, such as Birdland Jazz Club, Times Square, The Stone Pony, Yankee Stadium, Chicago, Washington D.C., Meadowlands, and internationally: tours throughout Taiwan and Thailand.
