Pagan folk metal band from Russia, Moscow region.

The band Bastion was formed in 2002 and used to play Heavy / Power Metal at the beginning. After releasing several home-recorded demo tracks, the band impelled by the natural progress of its participants, changes the style to Pagan / Folk Metal and accents on Ideological struggle for rebirth of the Pagan Weltanschauung and Traditions.
The band has performed at many concerts in their home town and different music clubs in Moscow, also staged in Obninsk, Krasnogorsk, Istra, Jaroslavl, Vladimir, Cherepovets and Minsk.
In November 2007 Bastion has recorded the demo "Remembering the bygone days", that included 4 tracks from the future Album. And only in 2010 the long work at recording the album was ready and the debut album "Dawn of Swarog" was released in July 2011!
Currently is recording a second full-length album "The Time to Fight" and goes on concert activity.
