Club 85 in Hitchin (Hertfordshire, UK) is a 2 minute walk from my front door, I'm very, very lucky for that. For others it might be too far, with many viewers of this channel living outside of the UK. This is my way of sharing much of what I have experienced there. I went to my first gig in 1977 (Lewisham Odeon, London) and have lost count of how many venues I have visited since then. Club 85 is one of the finest independent live music venues that I have ever visited. Eternal thanks to Bob Mardon and crew. My videos often wobble, my audio / video sync is often questionable, but hey, it's better than nothing. Music gives life meaning, it reflects and influences our emotions. Live music is the act of creation, fleeting and soon gone. This channel is my way of helping to keep those moments as something more than just a memory.
