Other than a place to view interesting videos, I am using my channel to be used as a media reference for my workshops in Egyptian Oriental and Folkloric Dance.
For my "JtE - Journey through Egypt" intensives:
My goal is for each region to have a large "Various Sources" playlist and a "Dance Reference Playlist" of selected video representation.
Each region's "Dance Reference Playlist" strives to give (1) a variety of "homestyle" non-professional dances and styles; (2) videos of local professionals - dancers, singers, and musicians of the very culture; (3) Local Governorate Group's performances of the local government funded "Culture Palace"; (4) Reda Troupe sample of their representation; (5) Kowmeyya (National) Troupe sample of their
representation; (6) Cairo Media or BellyDancer with regional representation outside of their area, danced for entertainment.
