Welcome to The Quilted Forest!

Hi, I’m Shelley Robson, the owner of The Quilted Forest, a quilt shop I opened in Forest City, Iowa, back in 1998. My journey in quilting has been an incredible adventure, and in 2004, I started my pattern design company, Pieced Tree Patterns. Our “Tiny Ones” patterns, which are index card-sized laminated quilt patterns, have become quite popular, featuring projects from 15-inch table toppers to king-size quilts.

In 2012, The Quilted Forest was honored as one of the top 10 quilt shops in the United States by Quilt Sampler magazine. I launched this YouTube channel in 2021 to share my passion, inspiration, and ideas with fellow quilting enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just starting out, you’ll find a wealth of tutorials, tips, and project ideas here to fuel your quilting journey.
