We were founded in 1862 by the American banker, diplomat and philanthropist George Peabody.
Our mission is to make London a city of opportunity for all by ensuring as many people as possible have a good home, a real sense of purpose and a strong feeling of belonging.
We are one of London's oldest and largest housing associations and community regeneration agencies and we own and manage 27,000 properties in the capital, housing around 80,000 residents.
We provide a range of community programmes for our residents and neighbourhoods. These include employment and training programmes, health and well-being initiatives, activities for younger and older people, welfare benefits advice and family support programmes.
