Christine Avanti is a published author, classically trained chef, and a health foodie. Being no stranger to weight gain in 2003 she lost 30 pounds and has kept it off even after going through menopause! Christine is the author of 4 books, two of which were best sellers; Skinny Chicks Eat Real Food (Rodale Pub. Inc. 2013) and Skinny Chicks Don’t Eat Salads (Rodale Pub. Inc. 2009). Christine has worked with Hollywood’s A-listers, she has been sharing her "food for thought" on over 100 TV appearances (The Today Show, The Doctors, Food Network, Access Hollywood etc.) and has contributed to over 400 articles (think Vogue, W, InStyle, Fitness, Women’s Health, New Beauty etc.). These days Christine spends much of her time in her kitchen developing fun, healthy and delicious recipes and a few indulgent recipes from time to time creating a balanced and harmonious life.
